Tutorial video for Solihull healthcare company

Solihull healthcare company, Apollo Testing, needed a video made urgently to help their customers undertake Covid 19 rapid antigen tests.  Apollo specialises in rapid ‘fit-to-fly’ tests for travellers which at the time required supervision and certification.  The company achieved this, by asking customers to upload photographs and videos of them undertaking the tests and the results.  To help customers understand the step required, the company knew it needed to produce a tutorial video

Jon Hunt, videographer at Flying Reporter Productions, worked for 30 years at the BBC, presenting, reporting and producing television.  With rapidly changing Covid travel rules, and an urgency to launch its covid testing service, Apollo contacted Jon one Saturday asking if he could produce a tutorial video within 7 days.  Jon rose to the challenge, working with the company to script the video and then he set about filming.

Presenter, producer, videographer all in one!

Jon says “My background in BBC TV news means that I can work really fast, distill complicated information and present it clearly to the viewer.   In TV news, I used to research, script, interview, film, edit and present my own news reports, usually against a punishing and definitive deadline.  This project was no different.  I was producer, cameraman, lighting engineer and presenter all at the same time.  This multi-skilling helped save the client money and got the job done within their deadline.”
